SYNOPSIS FOR KIDDIE FIRE TRAINER MAINTENANCE
The Marine Corps Installations East G-6, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the acquisition of a Kiddie Fire Trainer Maintenance non-personal services contract in order to provide the government with preventive and corrective maintenance of the Kiddie Fire Trainer located aboard Camp Lejeune, NC. The Period of Performance is 28 September 2016 through 27 September 2017. There will be two option periods which will be exercised at the Government's discretion.
The proposed acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561009, All Other Support Services, and the small business size standard is $11.0 Million.
The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis. The Government intends to award to the contractor's Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote approximately 7 business days after closing of response period. Kiddie Fire Trainer maintenance service specifications will be included with the solicitation.
The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 7 September 2016. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/. and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Wide Area Workflow E-Business Suite Application (iRapt) at https://wawf.eb.mil/. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.
