Added: Apr 26, 2013 4:48 pm Modified: Dec 09, 2013 2:51 pmTrack Changes NASA has awarded a follow-on contract to Millennium Engineering and Integration Company of Arlington, Virginia, to provide support services, including engineering and technical, as well as program and business management support to the Kennedy Ground Systems Development and Operations Program, at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The cost-plus-fixed-fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract begins February 2013, following a 30-day phase in period. The contract base period plus four options has a maximum value of $97.2 million with a potential performance period of five years. Millennium Engineering and Integration Company will provide a variety of services, including support to ground systems and space flight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations and integration and analysis; technical requirements development; management and compliance; and cost, risk and schedule integration and analysis. Subcontractors working with Millennium Engineering and Integration Company include Avatar Technologies, Booz Allen Hamilton, All Points Logistics, Red Canyon Engineering and Software, NetLander Inc., Schafer Corporation and North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University.

Added: Apr 26, 2013 4:48 pm NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Kennedy Ground Systems Development and Operations (GSDO) Program Office (LX) Support Contract (KLXS-II). The KLXS-II contract provides Engineering and Technical Services and Program and Business Management Support Services to the GSDO Program Office at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). This includes supporting ground systems and space flight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations integration and analysis; technical requirements development, management, and compliance; and cost, risk, and schedule integration and analysis. Anticipated release date of the RFP is imminent. This procurement is a full and open competition. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Mary Kiss at Mary.Kiss-1@nasa.gov . Interested parties should note that any submitted questions and the corresponding answers will be posted on this web site with a notice posted on the KLXS-II website at http://klxs2.ksc.nasa.gov. Draft Request for Proposal NNK13447748J was issued April 8, 2013. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541330 and $35.5M, respectively. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
