The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Kayenta Service Unit, Kayenta, AZ intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA), for internet services for the entire Kayenta Service Unit, which consists of the Kayenta Health Center, in Kayenta, AZ; the Inscription House Health Center, in Tonalea, AZ; and Dennehotso Health Station, in Dennehotso, AZ. The requirement shall exercise Base Year Plus Four Option Years and the Period of Performance shall be Date of Award through December 31, 2026.

- First Option Year: January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023
- Second Option Year: January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024
- Third Option Year: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
- Fourth Option Year: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
The Contractor, NTUA, is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact direct patient care.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, April 1, 2022, the contract will be issued without further notice.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
