Notice text

Added: Aug 17, 2017 1:25 pm NOAA's Acquisition & Grants Office, SIAD Branch, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with American Meteorological Society, Inc. for publication and related services (ex. Editing, dissemination services, page charges & printing of scientific articles) of journal articles and the yearly State of the Climate Report and Explaining Extreme Events Supplements published by the American Meteorological Society. The American Meteorological Society (AMS) is uniquely positioned to provide the vast majority of NCEI's peer-reviewed publication needs, as it publishes the preeminent journals in the fields of meteorology and climatology. In the case of the annual State of the Climate Report and Explaining Extreme Events, including coupled mailing services, there is no adequate substitute to using the AMS.
