The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Procurement and Grants Office (PGO), in Atlanta, Georgia intends to award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for International Technical, Operational, and Professional Support Services (ITOPSS) for CDC Projects supported by the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) 2010-N-12110. The ITOPSS RFP will acquire services in up to 77 countries, including but not limited to preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving written communications and records; gathering and distributing information; operating office machines; storing, distributing, and accounting for storage of material; operating office equipment; originating and distributing correspondence in both written and electronic formats, medical and scientific support services in both laboratory and office activities, secretarial services, program coordination, financial consulting, facilities projects, project analysis, interviewing, extramural resource management, public affairs, real estate maintenance, study coordination, program operations, administrative support services, and office automation services. Additionally, services related to public health, epidemiology, behavioral sciences expertise, microbiology, pharmaceutical, nursing, medical and surgical, occupational therapy, health economy, entymology, virology, laboratory quality assurance, and behavior modification will also be procured under this RFP. The procurement is being solicited as a full and open competition under NAICs code 541990-All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. The Government intends to make multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) awards from this solicitation. The awarded contracts will be for a base year of 12 months with four (4) one-year options. The contract period, to include options shall not exceed five (5) years with a total ceiling of $200,000,000.00 for all awards combined. There will not be a site-visit for this procurement. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and it is the CDC's intent to post the RFP in October, 2010 on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. Questions regarding this synopsis shall be submitted via email to Paul Drake at fzj0@cdc.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. The scheduled proposal due date will be approximately thirty (30) to forty-five (45) days after the RFP is posted. There is no solicitation available at this time. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.203, this synopsis serves as a presolicitation notice. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract. In order to be eligible to receive an award resulting from the RFP evaluations, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may call 1-888-227-2423 or apply online at http://www.bpn.gov/ocra. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
