About this opportunity

NASA's Glenn Research Center intends to sole source an Automated Laboratory System to Chemspeed Technologies, Inc. The ALS must weigh and mix powders and liquids, sonify, measure viscosity, dispense slurry solutions, perform drawdowns, store films, and integrate with NASA machine learning tools and other equipment to develop ceramic/polymer composites samples for a specific processing technique developed at the Center. Interested parties may submit capabilities by September 5th to be evaluated for conducting this acquisition on a competitive basis based on the ability to meet the requirement.

There is no set-aside designated for this potential award. Chemspeed Technologies, Inc. is identified as the intended sole source provider to acquire the ALS as a commercial item under FAR Part 12. No further details were provided on potential award values, quantities, period of performance, main NAICS and PSC codes, or possible budget ranges for procuring the Automated Laboratory System.
