The Malaria Infection Biology and Immunity Section (MIBIS) has a requirement to obtain Peak Analysis & Automation GX Series Robotic arm that is to be assembled with an existing iQue Screener Plus instrument. The resulting instrumentation will allow the lab researchers to program an automatic series of movements allowing dozens of plates to be tested utilizing a "walk-away" capacity. The ability to test multiple plates overnight and without supervision will allow many more thousands of samples to be tested in a time efficient manner. This automation also ensures a level of Quality Control and Quality Assurance that is difficult to achieve across multiple users performing this procedure by hand. The GX Robot arm is manufactured and sold exclusively by Peak Analysis & Automation. There are no known third-party vendors to offer the robotic arm or have the extensive knowledge and expertise in the intricacies of the GX Robot Arm being attached to the iQue Screener Plus instrument.
