Quotes must be emailed to angela.morrelli.civ@us.navy.mil and include comprehensive information such as pricing, FOB destination, point of contact details, Tax ID, Unique Entity ID, CAGE Code, and payment terms. The procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13, covering commercial items and simplified acquisition procedures.

The solicitation is exclusively set aside for small businesses, specifically targeting vendors in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334515 for Instrument Manufacturing. The procurement is a brand-name, sole-source acquisition targeting A.K.O., Inc. from Windsor, CT, for two specific items required by the Navy's calibration procedures. While specific award values are not detailed, the contract calls for delivery of the items by May 1, 2025, to the DLA Distribution facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The technical justification emphasizes the critical nature of these specific instrument models for maintaining Navy calibration standards, with the TSD6500-8 and TSD2060 being essential for Fleet customer torque wrench calibration. Vendors must demonstrate capability to meet all technical specifications and requirements as outlined in the detailed solicitation documents.
