Added: May 12, 2009 2:34 pm The Bureau of Indian Affairs, intends to purchase the following: 12,000 Gallon Portable Water Tower. Tank Specifications and dimensions: 8'-6" diameter x 30' 2 " long 1/4 wall A-36 steel; 4" automatic fill line with overfill protection valve; 12" discharge to maximize flow; chain actuated 12" butterfly valve on discharge; and internal and external ladder.

Hydraulic system: 6.5 hp commercial gasoline engine, with a close coupled hydraulic pump to operate the lift cylinder including quick disconnect hose system, two 5" diameter hydraulic life cylinder and two lever control system.

Tank stand: 6"x3/8" square tubing runners making up the base, 6 each 5" & 6" schedule 80 upright supports lock in place with pins. Mobility: 25000# rated axle, self adjusting brakes, duel 11.00-22.5 14 ply tires mounted to 10 hole bud wheels, Department of Transportation compliant lighting and fender & mud flaps.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00090064 herein cited as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The items will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 332420, Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees.

In accordance with DIAR 1452.210-70 and FAR 52.211-6, the items in this solicitation are identified as brand name or equal.

Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.

DELIVERY: After notice of award the Contractor will have until 45 calendar days, to deliver the equipment to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Transportation, Force Account Section, 8 miles south of Farmington, NM, Highway 371 at N3003 Junction, Block 6 Shop, Attention: Danny Peshlakai at (505) 327-7371.

Water Tower must past inspection before acceptance.
