This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, Virginia 23667, is seeking potential sources capable to provide Elevator Inspection services.
Applicable NAICS Code is 541350 with a size standard of $8 million. Classification code is H999.
Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, weights, personnel/labor, and technical supervision necessary to perform annual safety tests and semiannual inspections on eighteen (18) elevators, two (2) dumbwaiters, and two (2) ADA lifts located in various buildings at Hampton VAMC. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following:
1. Company Name and DUNS #
2. POC information
3. Business size and socio-economic classification (to be considered an SDVOSB/ VOSB; Contractor must already be verified in the vendors information pages VIP https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/ )
4. GSA Contract #; if applicable
All capability statements shall be submitted in writing no later than 3:30PM EST, Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 to the attention of: Breon Campbell, emailed to the address of Breon.campbell@va.gov.
