This notice seeks quotations to procure 43 units of GYROSCOPE RATE part number MIL-G-81168/5B with long-life bearings (CAGE Code 26269) for the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. The acquisition is set aside 100% for small business and will use NAICS 333318 other commercial and service industry machinery manufacturing. Firms must be able to meet the requirements of the proprietary technical data package as the part must be procured from an approved source. NSN 7H-6615-010637235, TDP VER 005, REF NR 7517308, QTY 43 EA, DELIVER TO W25G1U, W1A8 DLA DISTRIBUTION, NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5002, DELIVER TO W62G2T, W1A8 DLA DIST SAN JOAQUIN, TRACY, CA 95304-5000. This part must be acquired from/repaired by a source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawings as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from/repair by other sources, nor qualify testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and select items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review disclosures that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be econmoically obtained. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns (see FAR clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside).
