The National Park Service seek quotations or offers from eligible sources that specialize in custom design and fabrication of interpretive museum exhibits. A single, firm-fixed price service contract will likely result from this solicitation for all design-build phases of work from exhibit development, planning, design, and production through installation of exhibits and triangular kiosks. Approximately, 500 square feet of the Mine Storeroom and 1,200 square feet of the plaza will be available for the interpretive exhibits, and three other locations (Fort Pickens, downtown Pensacola, and Pensacola Beach) will require one three-sided kiosk. This turn-key Interpretive Museum Exhibit project requires a design within production budget of $100,000 (not to exceed). This production budget shall include all costs for fabricating, transporting, and installing exhibit structures and graphic elements. In general, costs associated with Project Management, Shop Drawings, Samples, Packing, Shipping, Installation, and Project Closeout are included in this production budget. Exhibits shall orient visitors to Gulf Islands National Seashore; convey the significance of the mine support structures at Fort Pickens and provide context to the larger story of the coastal defense of Pensacola Bay; as well as orient visitors embarking the modern ferry service at Fort Pickens, downtown Pensacola, and Pensacola Beach.
All offers timely received from eligible prospective contractors that possess the technical capability, relevant past performance and sufficient capacity to complete project within the required timeframe (March 1, 2017) will be considered for award.
