NASA/JSC Center has a requirement for 10 Goldfire Research Concurrent 1-year User Licenses.
NASA/JSC Center intends intends to contract with IHS Global Inc on a sole source basis.
IHS Goldfire delivers a single point-of-access to an extensive collection of authoritative engineering and technical reference content. IHS Goldfire provides a proprietary search capability allowing the user to access millions of technical and research documents essential to NASA engineers and researchers in one place. This content will help engineers, scientists and other technical professionals quickly make the best decisions across all phases of the mission. The application can be also search and aggregate NASA critical data, vastly improving how the how users find the critical answers they need to successfully accomplish their task.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing Andrea Browne andrea.browne-1@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 07/01/2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
