On or about 02 February 2017, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for Power Plant Windows Replacement at Gavins Point. The solicitation will close thirty days after being issued. The solicitation will be restricted to small businesses.
Project Description:
Contractor shall provide all labor and material required to remove and replace 38 of the 40 east Power Plant windows with similar or equal replacement glass, frames will remain. Contractor shall also be responsible for the replacement of new jams, sill, and caulking both interior and exterior. Approximately 150 lf of interior Formica window sills shall be removed and replaced with cultured marble sill and approximately 660 sf of architectural window film installed on the interior glass surface.
The estimated construction cost of this project is between $100,000 and $150,000.
The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238350, Finish Carpentry Contractors, with a size standard for Small Business of $15M.
The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
