SOLICITATION NO. W9128F-15-T-0054
On or about 28 July 2015, this office will issue a Request for Quotations for the purchase and installation of Emergency Gate Hoist Wire Rope for Fort Peck Dam, MT. The solicitation will close on or about 28 August 2015.
This solicitation is for unrestricted, full and open competition. One contract is anticipated to be awarded from the solicitation.
Drawings and all solicitation documents will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website https://www.fbo.gov. All amendments will also be posted to this website. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any amendments. The proposer shall submit all requested information specified in the proposal. There will be no public opening of the proposals received as a result of this solicitation.
DO NOT submit requests for the quotations to the federal agency personnel. See Obtaining Solicitation Documents below.
Project Description:
There are 8 sets of wire ropes that are located on the hoists that raise and lower the emergency gates in the Emergency Gate Control Buildings. These wire ropes are of an unusual construction in that they are fabricated of 4 separate stainless steel ropes which are braided together to form one wide flat belt that is approx. 541 feet long for each of the 8 gates.
Proposers:
Please be advised of on-line registration requirement for Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) which is located in System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM.
