The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Janitorial services that are to be provided include floor sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, floor scrubbing, floor waxing, cleaning of plumbing fixtures, cleaning restrooms, window cleaning, glass cleaning, metal cleaning, spot cleaning, carpet & tile cleaning (hot water extraction or steam), wall tile washing, cobweb removal, cleaning drinking fountains, dusting various surfaces and furniture, damp wiping, vacuuming various surfaces, power buffing, cleaning blinds, water hosing, emptying waste containers, replacing trash liners, collecting waste, handling grease rags, maintaining throw rugs, cleaning picnic shelters, cleaning laminate flooring, stocking restroom dispensers, cleaning small appliances, cleaning countertops, cleaning light fixtures and exit lights, and other miscellaneous items and includes the contractor furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform the required janitorial services.

The North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) for this requirement is 561720. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS is $16.5 Million.

Project is a total Small Business Set Aside. Services will run from May 1, 2014 through March 31, 2017. This is a five (5) year contract with base year contract and four (4) option years. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and perform all required work in accordance to the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the proposed contract.

The solicitation and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and available for downloading on or about March 24, 2014.

Contractors, if not already registered, must register at the System for Award Management (SAM) internet site http://www.sam.gov or by contacting the SAM helpdesk at 1-866-606-8220. The specifications will be available only from the FedBizOpps website on-line at http://fbo.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted and the Government will not issue paper copies. DISCLAIMER: The official specifications will be located on the FedBizOpps web page and the Government is not liable for information furnished by any other source. Amendments, if/when issued will be posted to the FedBizOpps website.
