About this opportunity

The Federal Contract Opportunity involves the purchase of flood inundation, depth, and extent data produced via Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite imagery by the Geospatial Research Analysis and Services Program (GRASP) within the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR)/Office of Innovation and Analytics (OIA). The data will be used to support flooding-related emergency preparedness, response, and recovery events, including mold remediation, measuring disease vector risk, effects of flooding on public health campaigns, environmental exposure assessments and tracking and mitigating impacts to health infrastructure and hazardous sites. The period of performance will be one year of data access, estimated from August 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024.

List of products and services to be provided by the contractor:

  1. Supply of flood inundation, depth, and extent data produced via Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite imagery.
  2. Making data accessible in a cloud-based server and setting up accounts for CDC/ATSDR access.
  3. Consultation regarding questions on data access, data methodology, and data interpretation.
  4. Data licenses and account access provided to CDC/ATSDR.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source contract to ICEYE US, Inc . Justification of the capability required is provided on the sole source justification document. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1)..

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at ehu0@cdc.gov.
