8/14 - The solicitation has been amended to correct an administrative error. The quantity of the 60inch Fire rated double doors has been changed to two (2) per building.
8/13 - The solicitation is now posted. Please follow guidance contained in provision 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items.
The Environmental Management Department at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of four flammable material storage containers.
The proposed acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
This is an OPEN MARKET procurement for a commodity. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. Item specifications will be included with the solicitation.
The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83, effective 3 Aug 2015 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20150626, effective 26 Jun 2015.
The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.FBO.gov , on or about three business days from this posting. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/ and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Invoicing, receipt, acceptance and property transfer (iRAPT) (Formerly WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil/. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.
