This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and written quotations are being requested. QUOTERS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE QUOTES RECEIVED. QUOTERS should not assume they will be contacted, or afforded the opportunity to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. Therefore, the initial quote should contain the quoter's best terms from a technical and price standpoint. This is a total small business set-aside. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14,000,000.00 for this requirement. Quotes are due on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, by 2:00 PM EST at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Procurement and Grants Office, Acquisition and Assistance Branch 8; Attn: Philippa D. Butts, 2920 Brandywine Road, Atlanta, GA 30341. Quotes will be accepted by email at: PButts@cdc.gov. The Offeror shall cite RFQ Number 2012-Q-14921 in the email subject line. Evaluation and award of the purchase will be performed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 Evaluation of Quotations or Offers and FAR 13.106-3 Award and Documentation. The Offeror must have an active registration with the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) prior to award of the purchase order in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7.
