The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) FCI Milan, MI anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B41723Q00000010 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract. to replace load breakers and transformers at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Milan, Michigan (FCI Milan). A site visit is scheduled for December 7, 2022 at 9:00am at FCI Milan 4004 E Arkona Rd. Milan, MI 48160, located in Washtenaw County.

Specifically, the FBOP, FCI Milan anticipates solicitating a contract for the repair and replacement of an existing electrical equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $16.5 million. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Interested bidders must be registered in the SAM at www.sam.gov.
The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above. Interested small business contractors are requested to respond to this notice by sending the completed NCIC (attached) clearance from to Cjoshua@bop.gov, which will be requried in order to attend the site visit scheduled on December 7, 2022. Interested small business contractors are also requested to respond to this notice by adding their names to the Interested Vendors List for this posting on the Beta SAM website at https://beta.sam.gov (must be logged-in to your vendor account).
