The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FCI Memphis) is soliciting for the provision of various bread items for the first quarter of FY24. The contract requires the delivery of wheat hot dog buns, whole wheat hamburger buns, and kosher whole wheat bread, all to be delivered within 48 hours of baking on a weekly or bi-weekly basis from October 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Memphis, TN, intends to issue solicitation 15B11123Q00000025 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE (BREAD). This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set‑aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 311999.  Delivery dates will begin October 1, 2023, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Memphis, 1101 John A. Denie Rd., Memphis, TN 38134. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and past performance per FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). The solicitation will be made available on or about August 21, 2023, and will be posted to SAM.gov. Payment will be made using the GPC for awards less than $10,000.00. For awards $10,000.00 or greater, payment will be made using EFT.  All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up‑to‑date information about this solicitation. A signed SF 1449, including vendor information, must be submitted to be considered a viable quote. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
