This procurement is designated as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 333310 (Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors, but notes that the existing USP Marion dryers are currently out of service due to increased population and high repair costs, necessitating this replacement procurement. While no specific contract value is provided in the available documentation, this is structured as a Firm Fixed Price contract for the delivery and installation of exactly two industrial laundry dryers. The place of performance is the Federal Correctional Institution located at 4500 Prison Road, Marion, Illinois 62959. The procurement timeline requires delivery of the equipment to this federal correctional facility, with payment processing to be handled through the FCI Marion Business Office.
