Update #1 ·
Added: Aug 12, 2015 4:02 pm
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is contemplating the award of a sole source, cost-plus fixed fee, Advisory and Assistance Support (AA&S) contract to Parsons Government Services to procure Facility and Life Cycle Management Support in order to maintain operational and site activation schedules for the Facilities, Military Construction, and Environmental Management Directorate (MDA/DPF).
The contract base period will be six months with one six-month option to continue existing support to the execution of a Congressional-Interest program; the European Phased Adaptive Approach (EPAA) site activation activities in Romania, completion of construction award activities in Poland, completion of construction of Missile Field 1's Mechanical-Electrical Building (MEB), and finalize on-going initial design activities for Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR). This effort is currently being performed on contract HQ0147-10-D-0024-0006 which expires on June 21, 2016. This follow-on contract is necessary to allow for continuity until project completion and avoid unnecessary and costly schedule delays. No additional sole source procurement is anticipated and future work will be acquired in a competitive environment.
