About this opportunity

This notice provides advance information on two planned sole-source contract awards. The Air Force Sustainment Center intends to procure repair services for 125 AN/ALR-56M Advanced Radar Warning Systems in the first order period, with additional quantities in subsequent years, through a firm fixed-price indefinite-delivery contract awarded to General Microwave Corporation. Additionally, engineering services to support the AN/ALR-56C Radar Warning Receiver installed across various aircraft platforms will be acquired via a follow-on five year contract with four one-year options to BAE Systems.

No set-aside will be used for either award. General Microwave and BAE Systems are identified as the intended sole-source awardees for the repair services and engineering support contracts respectively, citing FAR 6.302-1. The AN/ALR-56M repair requirement encompasses 125 units in the initial period, with 50 additional units ordered in the second period and third periods. The engineering support contract would have a total potential value of five years, with an additional four one-year option periods to BAE Systems. Questions regarding these planned awards are due by September 12, 2020.
