DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard Base Miami Beach has a requirement for a contractor to provide the labor and materials to replace the existing helicopter and engine wash rack electrical system in accordance with attached SOW. Please see the attached item peculiar to one manufacturer justification, no substitute is acceptable. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 using simplified acquisition procedures, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition is on a(n)Small Business. The NAICS Code is 238210 and. HOW TO RESPOND: Interested parties must submit a price quote by 1:00 PM, ET, September 09, 2013. Cost Proposal: provide Firm Fixed-Price. Electronic transmissions to falcon.albino@uscg.mil are PREFERRED, and must be timely. Evaluation Criteria: Award will be based on Lowest Price most Technically Acceptable offer. The award will be a firm fixed price contract subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965. Questions about this requirement must be in writing and submitted by e-mail. All inquiries must include the solicitation number, your full name, organization name, address, phone number, and must be received by 12:00 PM ET, September 06, 2013. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the quote is received by the date and time shown above.
