- Description: U.S. Transportation Command requires one, U.S. flag, Jones Act compliant, self-sustaining vessel, or ABS certified tug/barge unit, with the capacity to carry a minimum of 70 TEUs. Vessel or tug/barge unit’s overall length shall not exceed 700 ft./ 213.4 m, and laden draft shall not exceed 31.5 ft./9.6 m.
