About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure repair and modification services for display units under NSN 7H-7025-016505891, TDP VER 006, with a quantity of 7 units required for delivery FOB origin. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, as they do not own the data or rights to the data needed for competitive procurement, and it has been determined uneconomical to purchase the data rights or reverse engineer the part. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date of July 16, 2025, to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, with a shortened 30-day response period if the award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. Companies seeking to offer commercial items must identify their interest and capability within 15 days of this notice. The procurement is subject to various trade agreements including Free Trade Agreements and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement if specific DFARS clauses are included in the solicitation.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are specifically mentioned in the notice. The exact contract value is not disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, though the requirement specifies a quantity of 7 display units for repair or modification services. The notice indicates that responses will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct competitive procurement, with the final decision to compete remaining at the government's discretion. The procurement falls under the IT and Telecom PSC category for end-user equipment including help desk, workspace, print, output, and productivity tools. Documents and specifications can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, with most materials available in PDF format through ASSIST-Online at the provided web portal.
