The Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Acquisition Policy (DAP) had issued a RFP for the purpose of entering into a Firm-Fixed Price contract (one 12-month Base Period with 4 (four) 12-month Option Periods) to provide diabetes surveillance, technical assistance, education and training, and statewide outreach activities to support the Alaska Area's American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) community as described in Section C: Description/Specifications/Statement of Work.
1. This RFP was set-aside for "Acquisitions, Under the Buy Indian Act" (HHSAR Part 326.6). Offerors needed to be registered under SAM (System for Award Management - www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award; and provide the nine-digit DUNS Number (Data Universal Numbering System), which uniquely identifies the individual businesses in SAMs.
