About this opportunity
The Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Services published a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice on April 15, 2020 to issue follow-on contracts to The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. and McKinsey & Company, Inc. to provide qualitative and quantitative assessment services including conducting 90-day sprints focusing on $500 million in spending each, clean sheeting to establish organizational baselines and identify opportunities, and supporting deployment of category management capability. The follow-on contracts are being awarded on a sole-source basis because only the incumbents are determined capable of performing within the required timeframe of beginning work in April 2020 due to proprietary models and established relationships developed on previous contracts beginning in July 2018. The agency plans to competitively award a long-term contract in fiscal year 2021.
