Added: Jan 06, 2016 9:08 am The Department of Labor, Wirtz Labor Library intends to award a sole source contract for a period five (5) years, with one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods, to Bloomberg BNA, 3 Bethesda Metro Center Ste 250 Bethesda, MD 20814.

Basic Services required; Online access to Bloomberg BNA's The Daily Labor Report for coverage of a diverse range of local, state, regional, and global labor and employment topics including, but not limited to, union proceedings, legislative and regulatory happenings, employment board proceedings, and relevant litigations.


Base: April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017
Option One: April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018
Option Two: April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019
Option Three: April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020
Option Four: April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021

The resulting contract is for a firm fixed price service. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.


Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency for future purposes.


This is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
