This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing. This requirement is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for a Quantity (Qty) of 39 EA.


This acquisition is for a Cylinder Gas Valve, NSN: 8120-00-249-0880 MH, part number: 66551-1.

The function of the Cylinder Gas Valve is to inflate the C5 escape slide. General characteristics of the item are as follows:


approximate length - 4.27", approximate width - 3", approximate height - 4.27", approximate weight - 3 lbs, item


material - aluminum.


The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Air Cruisers Company, LLC (CAGE Code: 70167) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.


Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.


This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 15 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered.


OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer and/or PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
