About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA Aviation) is seeking to procure 188 cylinder block units through solicitation SPRTA1-25-Q-0004, specifically designed for high-pressure oil applications and fabricated from steel and brass alloys. The Request for Quote (RFQ) covers multiple line items with varying unit quantities: 10 units for line items 0001-0002, 26 units for line item 0003, 36 units for line item 0004, and 106 units for line item 0005. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with stringent cybersecurity requirements, including adherence to NIST SP 800-171 standards and maintenance of current Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The solicitation is unrestricted and classified under NAICS code 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Offers are due by January 6, 2025, with an expected contract delivery date of April 26, 2025.
The contract will be a firm fixed-price arrangement with F.O.B. Origin terms and incorporates Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements for case IS-D-KEN. Electronic payment requests must be submitted through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and the contract does not have any specific set-aside designations. Potential bidders should note the requirement to electronically submit proposals and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity protocols throughout contract performance. The procurement will support aircraft hydraulic, vacuum, and de-icing system components, as categorized under PSC code 1650. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated, the solicitation suggests the contract is expected to be below the simplified acquisition threshold, indicating a relatively modest procurement scope focused on specialized aircraft component procurement.

Therefore, synopsis is hereby waived as this acquisition is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, request for proposal will be made through Contract Opportunities and the offerors will be able to respond electronically.
