Added: Apr 22, 2016 3:08 pm The USDA, ARS, Western Regional Research Center, Albany, California has a requirement for continued field support of strawberry fruit plant research. This on-going research project involves preparing seventy-two 40-ft plots for replicating transplant test materials; each plot to specific treatment application requirements. This support includes providing the land, equipment, materials, and field labor for this project. Project support also entails cultivation, pest control, harvesting, and production and soil analysis. Field support must be within a 250-mile radius of the Western Regional Research Center to permit frequent site interaction. In order to maintain research consistency, the Government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source that provided the initial project support services, Pacific Agricultural Research Corporation. A solicitation is not available for this notice. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit proposals including descriptive literature (refer to FAR 52.214.21) of their services to Clarice Dixson, USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Western Regional Research Center, 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710 or by e-mail to Clarice.Dixson@ars.usda.gov no later than 11:00AM PDST April 26, 2016.
