The USDA, ARS, Western Regional Research Center, Albany, California has a requirement for continued field support of strawberry fruit plant research project. This project involves preparing 40-ft plots for transplanting test materials; each plot to specific soil treatment application requirements. Services include cultivation, pest control, harvesting, and production (yield and quantity) and soil analysis. The Government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source that provided the initial project services, Pacific Agricultural Research Corporation. A solicitation is not available for this notice. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit proposals including descriptive literature (refer to FAR 52.214.21) of their services to Clarice Dixson, USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Western Regional Research Center, 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710 or by e-mail to Clarice.Dixson@ars.usda.gov no later than 11:00AM PST December 22, 2015.
