Update #2 · Latest ·

The Control Test Set functionally tests, calibrates, and trouble shoots all temperature control systems manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc. for use on Boeing B52, C135, and KC135 airplanes.  The tester is used with adapter kits and cable assemblies furnished with the Universal Tester, PN 2754660-0501.  As temperature control systems are added to the airplane, additional adapter kits are furnished with the tester.

It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 8 March, 2021. The RFP will be posted to the beta.SAM webpage. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROIVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register.

The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Honeywell International, Inc. (CAGE Code: 06848) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 because no other source has the proprietary data to provide the Control Test Set. The Government does not own the technical data package (TDP), nor is the product under the configuration control of the US Government. However, Interested Parties or Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act.
