Update #4 · Latest ·

The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire conference support service for the 2019 AmeriCorps State and National Grantee Symposium. The conference is designed to provide in-depth training on federal grant management to 400 grantee staff. The content is focused on core elements of AmeriCorps grant management, including, but not limited to, compliance and monitoring, financial management, research and evaluation, program and member development, rules and regulations (e.g., National Service Criminal History Check Requirements), and CNCS focus areas and agency-wide priorities (e.g., disability inclusion, disaster response). The conference is required annually for all AmeriCorps State and National direct program and commission grantees.
The Symposium requires a level of professional event management that is not provided in the CNCS staff structure. As evidenced by multiple years of prior history for this event, specialized contractor personnel and expertise is required in order to deliver the requirement in a timely and cost effective manner. The contractor provides material resources to CNCS and its grantees (e.g., online registration and material management systems) as well as personnel (e.g., multiple contract to staff support the design, development, and onsite management of the event).
