The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to Carleton Life Support Systems, Davenport, IA (CAGE: 99251) to provide repair services for the inspection, calibration, labor and materials necessary to restore parts associated with the Concentrator Test Set TTU-518 (P/N: 1779AS500-2) and Concentrator Test Set (P/N: 3300156-6102) to operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. Carleton Life Support Systems is the only known source with the knowledge and technical data to provide repair services to the Concentrator Test Set. Carleton Life Support Systems is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Concentrator Test Set and retains all the proprietary/technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary repairs of the Concentrator Test Set. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract.
