About this opportunity
This notice seeks to procure 12 Comparator Modules (part #8494186G1) on a sole source basis from Lockheed Martin Corporation. The Naval Supply Systems Command intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract and will consider quotes submitted by interested sources by October 22, 2018. However, the government reserves sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received.
No set-aside will be used. The modules are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer. The pre-solicitation provides interested parties with specification and standards information and allows for identification of commercial items as alternatives.
This proposed procurement involves 12 units of a comparator module (NSN 7H-5865-016275852) manufactured to proprietary technical data package specifications owned by Lockheed Martin (CAGE 63005). As no set-aside applies, the value is unspecified but likely exceeds the micro-purchase threshold given the inclusion of proprietary data rights. Interested sources have until October 22, 2018 to submit capability statements for consideration, though award remains at the government's sole discretion.
