About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA Aviation) is conducting market research for a Circuit Card Assembly with National Stock Number 5998-01-457-0694 and Part Number 3147492-805. The procurement is being pursued under 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), which indicates the supplies are available from limited sources and no alternative supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The agency seeks to identify potential sources capable of providing this specialized electronic component, with interested parties invited to submit capability statements or proposals within 15 days of the March 13, 2025 notice. Market research aims to improve small business access to acquisition information and enhance competitive opportunities. Potential offerors are encouraged to contact the contracting officer at scottina.malia@us.af.mil to express interest or capability.
The procurement is not set aside for small businesses and involves a single unit of the circuit card assembly with an estimated delivery schedule on or before December 31, 2026. Raytheon (CAGE 96214) is referenced as a potential incumbent or key industry participant. The government has determined it would be uneconomical to reverse engineer the part or purchase associated data rights, which limits competitive alternatives. The procurement is subject to Free Trade Agreements and falls under the NAICS category of Bare Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing (334412). While the government is not planning to use commercial item acquisition policies, interested firms can still propose commercial item solutions for consideration by the contracting officer.
