This project is set-aside for Hub Zone Small Businesses.
The NAICS code for this project is 115310. The small business size standard is no greater than $17.0 million in average annual receipts
The intent of this contract is to secure services for mechanical site preparation within the Skinner Salvage sale and Dutch CE project areas. Contract objectives are to reduce fuel loads and competing vegetation to crop trees while increasing safety within treatment areas. The work units are to be cleared by felling and piling snags and damaged small trees, slash and competing vegetation in preparation for manual planting of conifer seedlings.
LOCATION
The project is located within the 2012 Chips Fire area on the Plumas National Forest, Mt. Hough Ranger District. The project area lies approximately one to three miles south of Lake Almanor, CA.
The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately 03/02/2015. The date of award is expected to be within 15 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments.
