The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Division, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to procure various parts sole source to Rolls-Royce Navy Parts, Valve Assembly - 2 EA, Hex Head Screw 358 EA, O-Ring 94 EA, Retaining Ring 6 EA, BTNHD Screw, 80 EA, Pipe Plug 40 EA, Blade Bolt Plug 160 EA, Washer Stat-O-Seal 60 EA and Nylon Pellets 220 EA which will be required by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, in Portsmouth, VA. A full list of references and associated ordering data shall be set forth within the written solicitation. These items will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 331420. Requests for quote will be available for download on or about 4 December 2015 at the following websites: http://www.fbo.gov under solicitation number SPMYM1-16-Q-0017 with a closing date of December 15, 2015. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web site. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledge the requirement that a prospective awardee must registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.fsd.gov or sam.gov.
