L3 Technologies Inc DBA L-3 (02978) P/N: E8DR105-0030
The total quantity required is 83 each, with an option to purchase an additional 83 each at the discretion of the Goernment.. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 17 January 2020; hard copies of this solicitation are not available.
Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. FOB Origin and Inspection & Acceptance at Destination is required. This solicitation is being issued as Unrestriced.
While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and socioeconomic. The required delivery is 300 days. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247 9059 F.O.B. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247 9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program – Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
