Update #1 ·

This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for NOUN, Tool, Rigging - Ramp Locking Mechanism; NSN: 492001529036BA; Part Number 17G110640-1. The Basic is for Qty of 3 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-2 each. The C-17 Aircraft Cargo Ramp has 22 latch hooks (11 on each side) that require an over-center alignment in the latched position. This over-center alignment allows each 17P3A1702-501 and 17P3A1703-501 hook to properly engage a latch spool and maintain a locked position. The spools are mounted on the Fuselage Jamb structure on both sides of the aircraft. The locking mechanism requires an over-center condition of 25 ± .06" between the Bell-Crank 17P3A1777-503 and link 17P3A1778-1. This dimension is obtained by fully extending the 17B3E3001-1/2 Actuator and adjusting the Rod End MS21151-8. A means is required at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance to interface the ends of the connecting Link Bolts in order to verify the required over-center alignment of the Cargo Ramp Locking Mechanism.
