This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for NOUN Reference Standard - Carbon Epoxy to Syncore; NSN: 6635-01-458-4540BA; Part Number 17G110079-1. The Basic is for Qty of 4 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-4 each. The reference standard is constructed of two 10 step wedges bonded together with three sheets of 0.04 inch thick syncore. The step wedges are positioned so as to be mirror images of each other with an equal ply thickness opposite of each other. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business.
Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ.
We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 30 July 2018 with an estimated response date of 29 August 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
