This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year options for Maintenance Platform Kit, NSN: 1790015511572, P/N: 17G110628-501. The Basic is for Qty 2 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year options are based on Qty range of 2 each. A means is required at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance to provide a work surface for a maintenance technician inside the tailcone assembly on C-17A aircraft with LAIRCM installed. The means must be capable of supporting up to 300 pounds.
The means must allow access to all components requiring maintenance inside the tailcone assembly. It must have a non-skid coating on its upper surface. The means must interface with the existing locating clips inside the tailcone assembly. It must not damage the aircraft structure or interfere with any components located inside the tailcone assembly. This requirement will be a set aside for Small Business.
Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilized the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ.
