This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for INSTALLATION FIXTURE-STABILIZER STRUT NSN: 1730015424210, Part Number 17G450429-1. The Basic is for Qty 3 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-2 each. A means is required at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance to facilitate the safe installation/removal of a stabilizer strut by


•· Securing the strut assembly at the optimum forty-degree angle to facilitate the removal and replacement of the strut hydraulic hoses


•· Providing lifting, lowering, and positioning capability to safely remove and replace the stabilizer strut


•· Being capable of interfacing with the stabilizer strut when the base of the footpad is between 15 and 24 inches from the ground (deployed/retracted position) in such a way that sufficient clearance is maintained between the strut and aircraft structure at all times so as to preclude damaging either the strut or the aircraft during remove and replace operations.


This requirement will be a set-aside for 8(a) Small Business.


The proposed contract action is for procurement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one 8(a) source, JETechnology Solution, Inc, Cage Code 4FKL5. Authority: FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).


This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The RFQ will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. All data for this weapon system is considered EXPORT CONTROLLED.


The solicitation release date will be March 18, 2019 with a response date of April 17, 2019.
