Added: Feb 26, 2018 10:38 am Modified: Aug 03, 2018 10:16 amTrack Changes This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with three one-year options for Cable Assembly, sp, Elec-Engine Lift/Transp Trlr, NSN: 6150-01-492-7486, Part Number 17G230506-503.  This part provides connection between the Electrical Power Distribution Box and the Engine Transport Trailer or Engine Lift Trailer.  The basic requirement is for a quantity of 6 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO).  The three one-year Options are based on a quantity of 2 each.  This requirement will be a total Small Business set-aside.

Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ.  All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency.  The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals.  Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ.


We anticipate release of the RFQ on or around 12 March 2018 with an estimated response date of 08 Aug 2018.  The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).  If you have questions or concerns related to this acquisition, contact the Contracting Specialist at email johnene.mcconnell@us.af.mil; telephone 478-222-0039.  All data for this weapon system is considered EXPORT CONTROLLED.

We have been unable to find the following components:
1. P/N: ST178-8SB
a. Desc: Contact (Plug Connector)
b. NSN: 5935-01-223-9006
c. Qty: 4


Answer:
The Drawing lists two (2) suitable subs for ST178-8SB:


1) From Note I on page 5 of the parts list says that P/N 031-3116-005
made by ITT Industries (714) 628-2138


2) And Note J says that M39029/30-220 is also a suitable sub. This one
may be easier to find than the other. It is an approved Specification
AS39029/30 Part Number.
