The government has a requirement to purchase 1471 electrical connectors. NSN: 5935-01-336-9017, P/N: 44095-30P-303/654478-3. This requirement is initiated to obtain a firm fixed price contract for spares in support of the AIM-120 missile and missile launcher. APPL: The AIM-120 missile buffer connector provides electrical connectivity between the LAU-12X launcher and the missile. The initial quantity for the basic year is 1471. There will be 4 - out-year options with a quantity of: 1st Outyear Option = 1-1000, 2nd Outyear Option = 1-1000, 3rd Outyear Option = 1- 1000, and the 4th Outyear Option = 1-1000. The approximate response date is 30 Oct 2014. No telephone requests. Only written, faxed, or electronic requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Specifications, plans, and drawings relating to the procurement described are not available at this time, and cannot be furnished by the government. The only approved source for this item is HIREL Connectors Inc. The required delivery schedule is 300 units per month with a final delivery by 31 Dec 2015. F.O.B. Origin/Destination, inspection and acceptance at origin. Height: 1.5 inches, Width: 1 inch, Depth: 1 inch, Pounds: .5 ounces. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. The connector provides the electrical connection between the AMRAAM missile and the aircraft launcher.
