The National Park Service requests information from vendors registered under NAICS code 238160, with a Small Business Size Standard $16.5M for an upcoming construction requirement at Buffalo National River, Arkansas.

Project Description: The project is to (1) remove and replace approximately 6,308 square feet of deteriorated zinc alloy standing seam metal roof panels from the Tyler Bend Visitor Center. The zinc metal panels have been subject to galvanic corrosion created with contact with the steal flashing underneath the panels. This corrosion has created several large holes in the panels where the flashing was installed. These holes allow water to damage the roof structure. There are holes along the roof transition areas requiring frequent inspections and patching. (2) a full tear-off of roof system and skylights on buildings in the project, reinforce and infill skylight openings with decking, and replace approximately 175 squares of 3-tab asphalt shingles with a high grade 30 year architectural shingle. The project encompasses 11 buildings in the Lower District and 4 buildings in the Upper District.

Magnitude of Construction estimate: Between $100,000 and $250,000
