Question #1: The equipment listed does not appear to represent a complete system. Is there a list of owner furnished equipment to be integrated with what is listed in the solicitation?
Response to Question #1: Components include products from but not limited to following manufacturers: Polycom, Extron, Crestron, and Sony.
Question #2: Is there a schematic drawing of the existing system or integrated system?
Response to Question #2: There is no schematic or drawing.
Question #3: What are the performance expectations for the integrated system?
Response to Question #3: The performance expectation of the new system is to take the existing system, fix any issues with it, and integrate with the new system as well as maintain the integrated system in the event of any issues arise after integration.
Question #4: What sources will be displayed on the LCD displays specified?
Response to Question #4: Displays will be used for presentations as well as proprietary digital signage system.
Question #5: What are the actual room dimensions, width, length and ceiling height for each side of the divider?
Response to Question #5: The actual room dimensions are not available.
Question #6: We assume the rooms need to function independently as well as in combined mode. Is there an existing control system to be reused? If so what type of control components exists?
Response to Question #6: The existing control system is in the hands of the original contractor, so the specific control system and programing are not accessible.
PLEASE NOTE: All technicians are required to be CTS Certified. Please provide a copy of their certificates in response. Requires a one (1) hour on site response to any AV Service issue. All maintenance quoted is on- site with parts and 7x24 NOC support. Must be able to work with the RMG digital signage platform.

The Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center requests equipment for a large combine and divide multipurpose room to include installation, and extended warranty for its new Clinic in Birmingham. Contractor shall use their own supplies and equipment and install in the designated locations. The contractor will also be required to remove all of their trash after installation. These monitors will work in conjunction with the VA's digital signage platform in accordance with VA247-16-Q-0500.
No late bids will be accepted. Solicitation closes at 3:00PM EST, 20 April 2016 via email to the Contracting Officer, Jessica Coleman-Smith, Jessica.Coleman-smith@va.gov
